Is
there a need? |
If you own your own caravan, chances are that
you use it quite often. If you are heading for
your holidays, and you break down the last
thing you want to do is spend your holiday time
sitting at the side of the road listening to a
queue of passing motorists honk their horn at
you. With the average response time for
breakdown recovery providers being in the region
of 30-40 minutes, and some providers claiming in
excess of 80% of repairs are conducted at the
road side, you'll soon be on your way.
Cover is also
available if you're traveling with a caravan in
Europe, read the terms and conditions. For more
information about breakdown cover on the continent, be sure
to read our European
car breakdown cover guide. It is a safer plan to cover
yourself before you go than it is to pay the
crippling costs (not to mention the hassle)
associated with a breakdown when you have no
cover. To compare
car breakdown packages, be sure to
visit our comprehensive
breakdown cover comparison tables.

Is
my caravan automatically covered? |
You're caravan should be included in most
policies from leading breakdown cover providers
(including the AA,
and RAC),
but be sure to read the terms and
conditions. Weight restrictions may apply,
you may have to pay more to cover your caravan
in Europe, and remember it is your car that is
covered in the event of a technical breakdown,
not the caravan.
