the company
As a result of customer demand at their vehicle repair
centres, Kwik Fit Insurance was launched in 1995 and has
grown to become one of the UK's leading car insurance
distributors.
Originally employing 130 people, the call centre at
Uddingston, Lanarkshire, now employs almost 1000 people,
handling an incredible 10 million calls every year.
In November 2002 Kwik Fit
was sold to CVC Europe, and in June 2005 the company
changed hands again, this time to PAI Partners.
Over the next few years
Kwik Fit Financial Services acquired Birmingham
insurance company Express Insurance and launched the
eco-friendly insurance company The Green Insurance
Company. In 2010, Kwik Fit Financial Services was bought
by Ageas (UK) Limited.
